SSF POLICY: Perspectives from South African small-scale fishers

This documentary is one of five in a series produced by the Masifundise Development Trust in 2018, with the support of the European Union. Each documentary focuses on the various ways in which small-scale fishers across the four coastal provinces are engaging with the Small-scale Fisheries Policies, including women and youth, despite many setbacks and broken promises on the side of government. Each one tells an untold and largely hidden story, of what it means and what it takes to be a determined small-scale fisher in South Africa.
