The Department of Agriculture Forestry an Fisheries released the final draft regulations for the small-scale fisheries policy last week.
The public is given 30 days to comment on the regulations.
The regulations were released last week Friday, 27 February. There is no translated versions of the regulations and Masifundise has requested the department to have the regulations translated into Xhosa, Zulu and Afrikaans as soon as possible.
Once the regulations are translated and available, we will make these available for our stakeholders via our website and social media platforms.
